Hand-executed undulations run across the four faces in solid Imbuia, and the wood grain follows each face with variations of its own from the block. Square cutouts, opened with a chisel, pierce the faces and receive amber castor bean resin, which forms microbubbles during curing. When lit, the resin emits a warm light through the wood and the cutouts take on a different density.


Folded aluminium profiles join the faces over a polished stainless steel structure, with four tubes axially compressed between turned conical feet, plates and caps. The dome is removable and the feet touch the ground with minimal contact area.


Each unit registers variations of its own, from the wood and from the curing of the resin. Made to order at DONÓ's atelier. Comes with a certificate of authenticity.
