The backrest, in an inverted half-moon, is cast in aluminium using the green sand process and raised above the seat by two polished stainless steel tubes. The surface preserves marks, small irregularities and variations from the manual casting.


The seat, upholstered in black velvet, is framed by a structure in ebonised Jequitibá Rosa resting on pyramidal legs. Hand-executed hidden joints structure the piece, while exposed stainless steel screws make visible the points of union between backrest and structure.
