Appliqués of aluminium cast in green sand, hand-moulded, clad the four faces of the removable dome. Square openings pierce each panel and receive amber castor bean resin. Contact between the aluminium and the resin during curing generates reactions that change from piece to piece, such as microbubbles, shrinkage and pitting, and each opening carries a variation in colour and density. The resin is crossed by light when lit and alters the visual weight of the whole.


Four tubes in polished stainless steel support the dome, axially compressed between turned conical feet, plates and caps. The feet touch the ground with minimal contact area.


Each unit registers variations of its own, from the casting and from the curing of the resin. Made to order at DONÓ's atelier. Comes with a certificate of authenticity.
