The four legs, positioned at 45 degrees, open the base and distribute the scale of the piece beneath a one-and-a-half-metre oval top. The transparent tempered glass keeps the structure on view, and the conical fittings, in turned stainless steel, fix the top and remain visible as part of the design. The sky blue penetrates the wood and tints it without covering the grain. Hand-worked in natural wood, each piece carries variations in colour, density and shape, and the blue may show slight variations in tone from one unit to another.
