The half-moon in cast aluminium remains suspended above the seat by two polished stainless steel tubes, holding a continuous gap between backrest and structure. The aluminium surface preserves marks from the green sand casting, while wood and velvet absorb light in distinct ways across the piece. Exposed stainless steel screws make the construction's joints legible.
